Sunday: First Easter brunch at Rosewood

Rosewood Sand Hill will host its first Easter Sunday celebration April 4 with a gourmet brunch at Madera restaurant and a petting zoo on the hotel lawn.

Madera will serve a four-course brunch with three choices for each course for $62 per person. A children's version of the brunch is $31. Madera will also offer its full children's menu. Each child will receive rabbit ears and a miniature Easter basket. There will also be a giant Easter egg display.

The Easter Bunny, as well as ducks, chickens, dwarf goats, pot-bellied pigs, turkey, sheep and rabbits, will greet children on the hotel's Vista Lawn. The petting zoo is open to community members, hotel guests and Madera patrons. Rosewood Sand Hill will donate proceeds from the petting zoo to the Palo Alto Humane Society. A donation of $10 is suggested.

For brunch reservations, call 561-1540.
