Tonight: Sue Miller at Kepler's

Sue Miller, the author of "The Senator's Wife," will talk about and sign her latest novel, "The Lake Shore Limited," at 7:30 p.m. Monday, April 12, at Kepler's bookstore, 1010 El Camino Real in Menlo Park.

Kepler's says the story centers on a play that Wilhelmina (Billy) Gertz has written about an imagined terrorist bombing of a train as it pulls into Union Station in Chicago, and about a man waiting to hear the fate of his estranged wife, who is traveling on it.

Sue Miller is author of the novels "Lost in the Forest," "The World Below," "While I Was Gone," "The Distinguished Guest," "For Love," "Family Pictures," and "The Good Mother"; the story collection "Inventing the Abbots"; and the memoir, "The Story of My Father."
