Habitat for Humanity dedicated two new homes in Menlo Park's Belle Haven neighborhood on April 6, part of a city-funded program to buy and revamp foreclosed properties in the neighborhood.

The city has pledged $1.1 million to the program, and other donors have contributed $400,000, according to Habitat. The nonprofit has turned five homes over to homeowners since the program began a year ago, and plans to

buy and renovate another five homes.
