Tonight at Kepler's: From Oprah to the Congo

Lisa Shannon will be at Kepler's to discuss her book "A Thousand Sisters" Tuesday, April 27, at 7:30 p.m.

Ms. Shannon raised money to sponsor Congolese women and traveled there after watching a 2005 "Oprah" episode about the rape and torture of women in the country. The book is a memoir of her trip there.
