Sunday: M-A Jazz Band performs in Woodside

 

The Menlo-Atherton High School Jazz Band will perform at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 23, at the Canada College main theater in Woodside, opening for the Palo Alto Jazz Alliance spring concert featuring the Gerry Mulligan Quartet.

Canada College is at 4200 Farm Hill Blvd. in Woodside.

at nearby Canada College at 2:00 pm. Hear the now famous Menlo Atherton High
School Jazz Ensemble. The main feature will be the pianoless quartet playing music from
the Gerry Mulligan and Chet Baker era. Popular musicians Gary Smulyan,baritone sax, Ron Stout,trumpeter, Michael Zisman,bassist and drummer Akira Tana.This concert is
presented by the Palo Alto Jazz Alliance, non-profit organization dedicated to jazz
education.
