Memorial Day: Train, bus on holiday schedule

By Bay City News Service

Caltrain and SamTrans will operate on a holiday schedule on Memorial Day, meaning fewer routes and fewer stops.

In the north part of San Mateo County, SamTrans will operate routes 38, 120, 121, 122 and 130. In the central part and coastside routes 110, 112 and 294 will run, and in the southern part of the county routes 280, 281, 296 and 297 will operate.

SamTrans will also run routes KX, 390, 391, 292 and 397 between San Francisco and the Peninsula.

Caltrain will operate on its Sunday schedule, which includes 28 trains between San Francisco and San Jose. Trains will not run south of San Jose, but a shuttle bus will run between Tamien and Diridon.
