Menlo Park: No council meeting tonight

Menlo Park's City Council, which generally meets on Tuesday nights, has a week off and will not meet tonight (Tuesday, June 1).

The council will next meet on June 8, with a public hearing scheduled on the budget for the 2010-11 fiscal year. Among other things, the council is also scheduled to discuss increasing the hotel tax at that meeting.

In general, council meetings begin at 7 p.m. in the City Council chambers, located between Laurel and Alma streets in the Civic Center complex.
