Ice cream vendor punched, robbed

 

Four men punched and robbed an ice cream vendor in the 1100 block of Madera Avenue in Menlo Park on Sunday, June 6, Menlo Park police report.

The men stole $16 worth of ice cream and fled on bicycles toward Newbridge Street, police said.

The assailants, described by police as black and between the ages of 15 and 20, were wearing black shoes and pants, Sgt. Matthew Ortega said.

The victim, who sustained minor lacerations and nose injuries, called 911 after the robbery, Sgt. Ortega said.
