Thursday: High-speed rail meeting in Fair Oaks

High-Speed Rail Authority and San Mateo County staff will talk about the plan to install the high-speed rail line in North Fair Oaks at a meeting on Thursday, June 17, at the Fair Oaks Community Center in Redwood City.

The meeting begins at 7:30 p.m. in rooms 4 and 5 of the center, located at 2600 Middlefield Road.

The rail authority plans to install the rail line along the existing Caltrain right-of-way as part of the larger plan to build a high-speed rail system from San Francisco to Los Angeles.

Spanish translation will be available at the meeting.
