ATHERTON

Fraud report: Someone phoned resident to report winning prize money and resident contacted Federal Trade Commission who advised contacting local police, Watkins Ave., Sept. 20.

MENLO PARK

Residential burglary reports:

■ Estimated losses of $10,200 in theft of laptop and desktop computers, pocket watch and wristwatch, 800 block of Arnold Way, Sept. 17.

■ Estimated losses of $5,650 in theft of two laptop computers, Apple iPod, gold watch, digital camera and charger, $330 in cash, 700 block of Bay Road, Sept. 20.

■ Estimated losses of $4,440 in theft of video game console, video games, camera, video camera and $40 in cash, 1000 block of Windermere Ave., Sept. 20.

■ Estimated losses of $3,330 in theft of Laptop computer, camera, camcorder and jewelry, 900 block of Laurel Ave., Sept. 20.

■ Resident locked herself in room and called police after seeing someone in her house, but suspect gone upon police arrival, 600 block of Central Ave., Sept. 21.

■ Laptop computer valued at $200 stolen, 1300 block of Willow Road, Sept. 17.

Commercial burglary report: Two laptop computers stolen, 3000 block of Sand Hill Road, Sept. 20.

Grand theft report: Cell phone valued at $500 stolen, T-Mobile store at 515 El Camino Real, Sept. 21.

Stolen vehicle report: Silver 1988 Chevrolet Silverado, 300 block of Laurel St., Sept. 20.

Elder abuse report: 1200 block of Crane St., Sept. 21.

WOODSIDE

Theft report: Loss estimated at $4,000 in theft or wallet and laptop computer from unlocked vehicle and $1,000 loss from use of credit card in wallet. 100 block of Old La Honda Road, Sept. 19.

Found property report: Water level in pond dropped and rusty rifle found in mud and transferred to Sheriff's Office custody, first block of Fox Hill Road, Sept. 15.

PORTOLA VALLEY

Theft report: Purse stolen from unlocked vehicle, Alpine Road and Golden Oak Drive, Sept. 20.

WEST MENLO PARK

Theft report: Purse with credits cards, $35 cash and miscellaneous items stolen from unlocked vehicle, 2000 block of Gordon Ave., Sept. 17.
