Football: M-A falls in first round of playoffs

 

No. 8 seed Menlo-Atherton fell to No. 1 seed Piedmont Hills, 35-7, Friday in the first round of the Division 1 Central Coast Section football playoffs at Piedmont Hills.

Menlo-Atherton snagged the No. 8 seed in Division I thanks to a 34-27 victory over visiting Woodside on Nov. 13.

Menlo-Atherton finished the season 4-7.
