Tuesday: M-A parent forum on bullying

Menlo-Atherton High is hosting a forum on Tuesday, Nov. 30, for M-A parents on the topic of bullying. The program will run from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the school's performing arts center.

The forum is designed to provide parents with an increased awareness and understanding of bullying, the social problems that can escalate into school violence, and ways of preventing bullying in school, said Bettylu Smith, spokesperson for the Sequoia Union High School District.

A 22-minute film on this topic will be shown, followed by a question-and-answer session with M-A High's administrative vice principal, Simone Rick-Kennel.
