Three finalists for open space district board

Breene Kerr, Yoriko Kishimoto and Ciddy Wordell in consideration for open seat

Three finalists will be interviewed tonight (Monday, Nov. 29) for the vacancy on the Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District board of directors caused by the Oct. 2 death of Mary Davey.

The finalists include three active environmentalists: Breene Kerr; former Palo Alto City Council member Yoriko Kishimoto; and Ciddy Wordell. All reside in Ward 2, Davey's former ward of seven represented by the board spanning parts of both Santa Clara and San Mateo counties.

The finalists, from a field of seven applicants, are to be interviewed at 7 p.m. tonight by the district board.

Backgrounds and position statements of all applicants can be viewed here.
