Tonight in Menlo Park: 'Smashing protons'

David Miller of the SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory in Menlo Park will give a free talk at 7:30 p.m. tonight (Nov. 30) called "Smashing Protons: First Physics at the Large Hadron Collider."

The talk will be given at SLAC's Panofsky Auditorium, 2575 Sand Hill Road in Menlo Park.

Mr. Miller recently returned from the Large Hadron Collider in Switzerland, and will share pictures from the LHC, where collisions between protons are recorded.
