Wednesday: Santa drops by fire stations

Santa will visit all three of the Woodside Fire Protection District fire stations during their open houses from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 15.

Santa will pose for pictures and ask what children would like for Christmas, but he's also hoping families will bring along new toys to give to underprivileged children. This month the fire stations are collecting toys on behalf of the Toys for Tots program.

During the open houses, families are invited to climb on the fire trucks and enjoy refreshments at these locations: 3111 Woodside Road in Woodside; 135 Portola Road in Portola Valley; and 4091 Jefferson Ave. in Redwood City.
