Section of Skyline Boulevard closed

Skyline Boulevard is expected to be closed in both directions from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. today (Monday, Dec. 20) between Highway 84 (at Alice's Restaurant) and Bear Gulch Road (about 2.3 miles north of Alice's), according to the San Mateo County Office of Emergency Services.

Employees of Pacific Gas & Electric Corp. are repairing downed power lines near Morse Lane, a county spokesman said.

The communities directly affected include Kings Mountain, Skylonda, and Woodside. The closure applies to all traffic, including bicycle and pedestrian.
