Firefighters from the Menlo Park Fire Protection District were called to the scene of a possible rupture in a gas main at 1315 Middle Ave., near the intersection with Hermosa Way, a few minutes before 3 p.m. today (Jan. 11).
Responding to the incident were two engine companies, usually four firefighters in each, and a battalion chief, according to an online account of the incident.
PG&E workers are either on the scene or en route, according to a radio dispatch.
