Pinewood senior Hailie Eackles poured in a season-high eight 3-pointers on the way to a 32-point outburst to help shoot down host Menlo School, 81-47, in a West Bay Athletic League (Foothill Division) game on Friday night in Atherton.

Eackles made four treys in the second quarter as the Panthers (3-0, 12-3) pulled away for good after the teams played evenly in the first quarter. Menlo fell to 1-1 (11-4). Pinewood made 17 treys with Miranda Seto making four while scoring 16 points.

In San Francisco, Sacred Heart Prep was held to seven first-half points as the Gators (0-2, 8-3) dropped a 29-19 decision to Mercy-San Francisco in a WBAL contest.

In the PAL Bay Division, Menlo-Atherton (1-1, 5-11) got 19 points from Anna Crookston-Herschlag but still dropped a 61-47 decision to host San Mateo on Friday night.
