A male pedestrian was struck and killed early this morning by a Caltrain traveling through Burlingame, according to Caltrain spokeswoman Tasha Bartholomew.
Northbound train No. 305, which departed from San Jose, struck the pedestrian near Oak Grove Avenue at approximately 6:23 a.m. The man was pronounced dead at the scene, she said. No further details were immediately available.
All trains were suspended for a time, but then single-tracked around the site. Ms. Bartholomew said delays would be about 15 minutes.
