Saturday: Seminar on end-of-life issues

Woodside Village Church will host a seminar on end-of-life issues from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 22, in the church's Guild Hall, 3154 Woodside Road in Woodside.

The presentation is intended to help those planning for themselves and those who have responsibility for a loved one at the end of life. The seminar will feature legal and personal issues, from wills and healthcare directives to memorial service planning.

The workshop is presented by the Rev. Dr. Judith Pruess-Mellow and Jackie Findley, co-owners of Gold Country Seniors Alive. Both women have extensive backgrounds in senior issues.

To register, contact or call the church office at 851-1587. The $25 fee, payable at the door, includes course materials and a light lunch.
