Neighbor helps police nab burglary suspects

Three men and one juvenile were arrested in Menlo Park on Wednesday (Jan. 26) after a neighbor spotted suspicious activity on Bieber Avenue at around 3:44 p.m. and called police.

A neighbor spotted two people searching for an open window at a house in the 1100 block of Bieber Avenue. Two others were acting as lookouts, police said.

Police officers were patrolling the area at the time so officers were able to get to the scene within 90 seconds, police said.

The four were arrested on suspicion of attempted burglary and conspiracy to commit a crime, police said.

Andres Lopez Solano, 21, Antonio Barrajas, 18, Leonel Contreras, 19, were booked into San Mateo County jail, and the juvenile was booked into juvenile hall.
