Man, 37, shot and killed in East Palo Alto

Police hunt for suspects in early-morning shooting

East Palo police found a man shot dead early Saturday morning and are now seeking witnesses to help track down suspects.

Officers responded to a report of a shooting at about 1:45 a.m. in the 1900 block of Capitol Avenue.

When police arrived, they found a 37-year-old man who had been shot. Paramedics responded and pronounced him dead. His identity has not been released.

Anyone who may have witnessed the shooting is asked to contact the East Palo Alto Police Department at 650-321-1112.
