Up to two traffic lanes in each direction will be closed during weeknights on the six-lane Dumbarton Bridge starting around 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 31, and continuing through August, the Toll Bridge Program Oversight Committee reported Monday.

The lanes will be closed so seismic retrofit work can be undertaken, including reinforcing the existing concrete slab bridge, replacing major deck joints and installing isolation bearings. The pedestrian/bicycle path will remain open.

More information about the lane closings can soon be found at a new website, Dumbarton Bridge Info.
