Portola Valley: Leslie Lambert on the mend

Leslie Lambert, the planning manager for the town of Portola Valley, remains on extended medical leave to recover from a serious concussion, but she is recovering, Town Manager Angie Howard told The Almanac.

"She is out of the hospital, she is at home, she is recuperating and we're all hoping that she'll come back real soon," Ms. Howard said recently.

Ms. Lambert is "much, much, much better," Assistant Town Manager Janet McDougall said in a separate interview.

Ms. Lambert's injuries came as a result of a fall at or near her home in Mountain View on Jan. 21.
