Boys & Girls Club seeks coaches

The Boys & Girls Club of the Peninsula is looking for volunteers to coach girls' volleyball and youth basketball this spring in Redwood City.

The volunteers will be paired with another coach and every week run two sessions with the kids: one practice and one game.

From early April to early June, the volleyball coaches will oversee 10 high school girls, and the basketball coaches will be responsible for 10 first- through third- graders.

Training on practice preparation and behavior management is provided. Coaches who know game rules and regulations are preferred.

The practices and games will be held at the Mervin G. Morris Clubhouse at 1109 Hilton St. in Redwood City.

Anyone interested in volunteering is asked to contact Whitney L. Hubbard at (650) 646-6134 or Whubbard@bgcp.org.
