Tonight: What do you want in a town manager?

Woodside residents are invited to meet with the Town Council on Tuesday, March 22, to discuss what qualities and character they want in the next town manager. The current manager, Susan George, plans to retire in January 2012 after heading the town staff for 18 years.

The meeting starts at 7:30 p.m. in Independence Hall at the corner of Woodside and Whiskey Hill roads in Woodside.

The council recently hired Sacramento-based Peckham & McKenney Executive Search and Consulting to find candidates for the position.
