Swimmers will not only compete for the best times on Saturday, April 2, but also to collect the most new shoes, when the Menlo Masters swim team hosts a meet to benefit My New Red Shoes, a nonprofit that provides clothing for homeless children. The three-hour event starts at 6 a.m.
