High-school artists wanted for art contest


The annual congressional high school art contest is on and the winners get to display their work where thousands can see it -- on a corridor wall in the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C.

The deadline for local submissions has been extended to Thursday, April 14.

All high school students from Rep. Anna Eshoo's 14th District are invited to participate.

Artwork must be delivered to Ms. Eshoo's local office at 698 Emerson St. in Palo Alto by 5:30 p.m. Thursday, April 14.
