Tuesday: California cap & trade

California's cap-and-trade program, proposed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, is the topic for a luncheon meeting in Menlo Park at noon Tuesday, May 10.

Jasmin Ansar, a climate economist for the Union of Concerned Scientist, will discuss the proposal at a meeting of the Silicon Valley Roundtable of the National Association for Business Economics.

The meeting will be at the Menlo Park Library, 800 Alma St.

RSVP to [email protected] The cost is $20 for members and $25 for others. Pay at the door.
