Tonight: Menlo Park scopes out Facebook

Planning Commission focuses on campus development

Facebook rises to the forefront of tonight's Planning Commission meeting. A scoping session followed by a study session will attempt to analyze what should be included in the environmental impact report for the social networking giant's Menlo Park headquarters.

The company wants to swap the existing limit of 3,600 employees on site for a cap on vehicle trips at its Network Circle and Constitution Drive properties.

The meeting starts at 7 p.m. in council chambers at the Civic Center at 701 Laurel St. Visit the city's project page for more information.
