Today: Fun run with former 49er Roger Craig

Roger Craig, the former San Francisco 49er running back, four-time Pro Bowl participant and three-time Super Bowl winner, is hosting a 2.5-mile run at Edgewood Park at 9 a.m. Saturday, June 18.

Also happening at the same time and place: two leisurely hikes with rangers and docents, one of 1.6 miles and the other of 2.6 miles, , according to a statement from the office of San Mateo County Supervisor Rose Jacobs Gibson.

Runners and hikers should gather at the Bill and Jean Lane Education Center at the park's main entrance on Edgewood Road about a half mile east of Interstate 280. Parking is limited and carpooling is recommended.
