Wednesday: Free concert in the park

Concert in downtown Menlo Park starts at 6:30 p.m.

Brian Andres and the Afro-Cuban Cartel will perform dance-friendly salsa music Wednesday, July 27, in Fremont Park at the corner of Santa Cruz Avenue and University Drive in downtown Menlo Park.

The free concert runs from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

People are encouraged to bring a blanket and a picnic.

Next Wednesday, Aug. 3, A Touch of Class band will perform R&B, funk, oldies and standards at the same time and location.
