Tonight at Kepler's: Freud's decades-long use of cocaine

 

Dr. Howard Markel will talk about his book, "An Anatomy of Addiction: Sigmund Freud, William Halsted, and the Miracle Drug Cocaine," at 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 27, at Kepler's Books, 1010 El Camino Real in Menlo Park.

The book is about the decades-long cocaine use of Sigmund Freud and William Halsted.

Kepler's members are admitted free. General admission requires the purchase of event book or a $10 gift card.
