A reader notified the Almanac that he spotted a mountain lion on Wayside Road near 180 Wayside Road in Portola Valley at 4:20 pm Tuesday, Aug. 16.
“It was not intimidated by my car and casually strolled across the road,” said the reader, a Portola Valley resident.
