The Kids 4 Sports Foundation will hold its second annual 5K Fun Run on Sunday morning, Aug. 28, starting at Oak Knoll School at 1895 Oak Knoll Lane in Menlo Park.
This is a family fun run that benefits underserved youth in East Palo Alto and east Menlo Park so they can participate in organized team sports.
The event starts with a group-led warm-up at 8 a.m. and the race starts at 8:30 a.m.
Participants will run or walk a 1.5-mile loop or a 5k double loop on flat residential streets.
To register online, click here. The registration fee is $20 per adult and $15 for youth 18 and under.
Each registered participant will get a race T-shirt and can attend a post-race festival with food and booths.
