Tonight: Emergency well meeting in Menlo Park

As part of its plan to install two to three emergency water wells in Menlo Park, the city is holding a community meeting tonight (Aug. 29) to seek public input on possible locations.

The wells would provide a backup water supply in the event of earthquake or other disaster.

The meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. at the Arrillaga Family Recreation Center at 700 Alma St., in the Civic Center. Another meeting will be held on Thursday, Sept. 8.
