Tonight: Council's last look at draft specific plan

Prepare to settle in for a long night at Menlo Park City Hall on Tuesday, Sept. 20, as the council holds its last discussion of the draft downtown/El Camino Real specific plan, focusing on the El Camino Real portion, the heavily criticized fiscal impact analysis, and public benefits associated with development within the plan's zone.

Thankfully, that's the only topic of regular business on the agenda. The meeting starts with a closed session at 6 p.m. to discuss a potential lawsuit over the congressional redistricting plan, with the regular session following at 7 p.m. in the council chambers at the Civic Center at 701 Laurel St.
