Supes change trail vote to Nov. 1

The San Mateo County Board of Supervisors has set a new date for deciding whether to ask Stanford University for a two-year extension of its offer to upgrade a trail along Alpine Road between Portola Valley and Menlo Park.

The matter will be on the board's meeting agenda for Tuesday, Nov. 1. The rescheduling will allow all five supervisors to attend the meeting, county spokesman Marshall Wilson said.

The board meets in the board chambers on the first floor at 400 County Center, located at Bradford Street and Hamilton Avenue in Redwood City. Meetings start at 9 a.m.
