Donald Landwirth of Atherton spotted this spelling error in new roadside lettering at the intersection of Semicircle Road and Eighth Avenue in Redwood City on Oct. 19. As you approach the intersection, the lettering said: NO ... LEFT ... TUNR. The error was subsequently corrected.

Right in front of Garfield School. Been there for weeks like that. And, until today, nobody has said anything. What does that say about the state of our education system?

"What does that say about the state of our education system?"

Perhaps it says they have a great sense of humor.

Or that they wanted a great example of why education is important.

Or perhaps it's an abbreviation for not turning you tuner to a lower numbered station while in that lane.

Shall I go on? What does it say to you?
