Priory hosts hoops camp with former NBA players

Former NBA players Christian Laettner and Mark Madsen will be on hand for the Christian Laettner Basketball Academy on Saturday at the Priory in Portola Valley.

The basketball camp, open to boys and girls ages 13-18, will concentrate on skills and fundamentals and creates an opportunity for co-ed players to learn the concepts of NBA, USA, college and high school basketball while preparing for the upcoming season.

The camp will run from 3:30-6:30 p.m. Madsen, the former Stanford and two-time NBA champion with the Los Angeles Lakers, will make a guest appearance.

Laettner, who starred at Duke before moving on to the NBA, also will be on hand to conduct the clinic and autograph items that the campers will receive.

For those wishing to attend, contact Priory boys' basketball coach David Moseley at (650) 485-1461. Players under the age of 13 need to contact Moseley for inclusion into the camp. Campers can register at: http://futurestarshoopsacademy.ning.com/profile/register
