Man killed by Caltrain Saturday is identified

Gregory Brown, 54, of Redwood City killed Saturday morning

A middle-aged man who was struck and killed by a train at the California Avenue Caltrain station in Palo Alto Saturday morning (Nov. 26) has been identified as Gregory Brown, 54, of Redwood City, the Santa Clara County Medical Examiner said Monday.

The incident occurred at about 10:55 a.m., when a Baby Bullet express train hit Brown at the station, spokeswoman Tasha Bartholomew said.

It was the 14th fatality on Caltrain property this year.
