Tosello named to senior football all-star game

Menlo College senior defensive lineman Chris Tosello will get a taste of winter next month as he has been selected to play in the All-American Bowl in Minneapolis on Dec. 17.

"He's worked at this his whole career and had a great senior season," Menlo coach Fred Guidici. said. "He's been nothing but a standup guy with high leadership abilities on and off the field. He definitely deserves to play in this game."

The game will be played in the Mall of America Field, home to Stanford grad Toby Gerhart and the Minnesota Vikings.

Tosello, a native of La Canada, Calif., led the Oaks with 11 sacks and 13 tackles for loss. He was named the Beyond Sports Network NAIA Defensive Player of the Week in late October.
