M-A students conduct canned food drive

Menlo-Atherton High School students are conducting their annual canned food drive, started many years ago by the late Coach Ben Parks.

Working with Second Harvest Food Bank, students collect canned goods at Safeway in downtown Menlo Park and in Sharon Heights, Key Market in Redwood City, Whole Foods in Palo Alto, and Roberts Market in Woodside.

The food will be distributed to families at the Ecumenical Hunger Program, 2411 Pulgas Ave. in East Palo Alto, from 7 a.m. to noon Saturday, Dec. 10. For more information, call Kelly Todd, 322-5311.
