Menlo Park drug raid nets one suspect

Menlo Park's narcotics enforcement team arrested one man on Wednesday, Dec. 7, after investigating a Dunsmuir Way home in the wake of complaints about illegal activity.

"Many different neighbors were complaining about drug activity, cars coming and going at all hours, loud music from cars," said Detective Sgt. Eric Cowans. "Plus our patrol officers were noticing an increase in activity at the house."

The weeks-long investigation culminated in a search warrant, police said. The team arrested 49-year-old Raymond Hernandez for alleged possession of methamphetamine. Police declined to disclose how much meth was found, but said they also found evidence of drug sales.
