Tonight: Talk at Hillview on 'cyber-bullying'

 

Menlo Park Police Officer Jaimee Tassio will talk about how to keep children safe online in a talk on cyber-safety at 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 12, in the Hillview Middle School library at 1100 Elder Ave. in Menlo Park.

Officer Tassio will talk about online incidents that have faced local families and some of the dark side of electronic communication, including cyber-bullying, assumed identities, and unwelcome results from Internet searching.

Officer Tassio will also give tips on how to avoid inappropriate or dangerous situations online.
