Police calls: Residential burglary in Menlo Park

 

This information is from the Atherton and Menlo Park police departments and the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office. Under the law, people charged with offenses are considered innocent until convicted.

MENLO PARK

Residential burglary report: Loss estimated at $2,000 in break-in through front door and theft of TV and peripheral equipment, Hollyburne Ave., Dec. 20.

Theft report: Loss estimated at $3,000 in theft of green molten glass vanity landscaping rock from front yard, Stanford Ave., Dec. 20.

Fraud reports:

■ Losses estimated at $3,000 in purchases in unauthorized use of fraudulently acquired credit card, Santa Monica Ave., Dec. 16.

■ Loss estimated at $773 in unauthorized charges to fraudulently opened telephone account, San Mateo Drive, Dec. 20.

Stolen vehicle reports:

■ Black 2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser stolen, Safeway supermarket at 525 El Camino Real, Dec. 18.

■ Gray 1996 Honda Accord, San Antonio St., Dec. 19.

WOODSIDE

Commercial burglary report: Attempted theft of computer via unlocked classroom window, Woodside High School at 199 Churchill Ave., Dec. 19.

WEST MENLO PARK

Auto burglary report: Loss estimated at $180 after front passenger side window smashed and nylon bag and contents stolen, Alameda de las Pulgas, Dec. 21.
