Five local boys were members of the Santa Clara Sporting U18 boys soccer team that won the Cal-North State Cup final against Peninsula Extreme in Elk Grove on May 4.
Local seniors on the winning team include Brian Kelley and Flint Mitchell from Menlo-Atherton High School; Timmy Costa and Andrew Schmitt from Menlo School; and Tommy Meaney from Sacred Heart Prep.
The coach is Stanford men’s assistant soccer coach, Mike Graczyk.
