Friday: Torch run through Menlo Park

Menlo Park police will carry the torch in support of the Special Olympics of Northern California on Friday, June 21.

Officers will be running at 9 a.m. on El Camino Real between Palo Alto and Atherton. The Special Olympics is a nonprofit that organizes free sports training and competitions across the world for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. The local games will take place at the end of June.
