The Sunset Room and Terrace at Allied Arts Guild in Menlo Park will be the setting Saturday, Sept. 7, for “Summer Fest,” a fundraiser for the Menlo Park Kiwanis Club’s many charities.
In the past year, the club has given more than $90,000 for its projects, including scholarships to college-bound Menlo-Atherton High School graduates.
A 5:30 p.m. cocktail hour with appetizers, hosted bar and silent auction will be followed by a lobster dinner with shrimp, corn, potatoes, onions, artichokes and hot links. A live auction after dinner will include stays at Lake Tahoe and Hawaii, a fire-house dinner, and dinners hosted by Kiwanis Club members.
