Saturday: Peninsula Ball Foundation holds Debutante Ball

The 55th Peninsula Debutante Ball is set for Saturday, June 14, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Palo Alto.

The Peninsula Ball Foundation raises funds for the College Bound Program of the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Peninsula. Over the past several years, the foundation has raised more than $1.5 million for the BGCP.

The honorary co-chairs this year are Sally Howard and Karen Schultz. Ms. Howard was on the Peninsula Ball Committee for nine years from 2000-2009, served as a board member to the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Peninsula for nine years, and as served a three year term as a trustee member for the Palo Alto Medical Foundation. Ms. Schultz served as a Peninsula Ball Committee Foundation member for nine, years and co-chaired the ball with Ms. Howard in 2005.

The chairwoman this year is Mary Rudolph, who has served on the committee since 2006.

The music for the evening will be provided by the Dick Bright Orchestra. Christopher Martin will be the presentation director, and Brian McConville will be the photographer.

Members of the debutante class of 2014 are: Marielle Elizabeth Alexander, Kathleen Margery Bird, Julia Claire Buchsbaum, Hannah Rose Bundy, Kiana Louise Cacchione, Sloan Siena Cinellli, Anne Louise Fishback, Madeleine Juptner Frappier, Megan Celeste Hogan, Madeline Clare Huber, Katherine Regan Huneke, Elizabeth Nelson Imman, Kelley Annette Jones, Katherine Elizabeth Kelly, Hayley Jane Korman, Miss Megan Josephine Lamb, Lindy MacLaurin LaPlant, Maegan Jo Lavelle, Heather Margin, Robin Margin, Sophia Jane Mandema, Mara Christina McLean, Caroline Jane Moley, Katherine Stewart Moore, Caroline Josephine Rakow, Julia Marion Saul, Julia Shepard Stoner, Chandler Frances Wickers, Kelly Catherine Willard and Elizabeth Grace Zales.

Ushers are William Kittler, Parker Schultz, Henry Solomon and Quinn Sweetnam.
